Japanese silk obijime cord which is used to tie around the obi on a kimono.
Can be used as obijime/belt or for craft/sewing projects like handbag handles, bracelets, straps and keyrings.
 
Details:
Threads: Silk.
Colour: Orange red and creamy white.
Condition: Used - In very good condition for a used obijime. The odd faint yellowing on the white, see photos.
Design: Round. Mainly one colour with a section near one end which has the two colours braided in a decorative pattern.
Age: Unknown.
Origin: Japan.
