Japanese kimono fabric which has not been used and is in very good condition.

Available in various lengths from a fabric bolt and if you order more than 100 cm it will come as one continuous length (subject to availability).

Details:

Fabric: Silk tsumugi, light weight with a slight sheen.

Technique: Tsumugi Handwoven - Tsumugi silk is woven from spun silk threads. This type of Tsumugi has an irregular weave/thread. Colour: Mainly dark blue with multicolour thread running throughout, this is only noticeable at close inspection. Condition: Not used - Very good condition. There is some yellowing around the label on the pale section but the rest looks ok. I have not unrolled this bolt to check. Design: Faint multi-coloured thread stripes. Age: Vintage. Origin: Japan.
