Japanese 'Ama coat' fabric which has not been used and is in very good condition.
Ama (Rain) coat is a japanese kimono raincoat similar in design to a Haori but has a square neckline with double breasted front and is longer in length. This fabric also has a water repellent coating.

Details:
Fabric: Silk water repellent fabric, has a lovely sheen to it with a slight crisp feel so may not be ideal for a project that requires the fabric to drape. Although this is fabric is water repellent it can still be used for all types of projects, it has a luxurious feel and is a light to medium weight.
Colour: Pale peach and cream. (See other listing for a orange version of this fabric).
Technique: Woven/ dyed.
Condition: Very good not used. 
Design: Traditional Japanese Yabane / Yagasuri (Arrow Feathers) pattern.
Age: Unknown.
Origin: Japan.
